Sarah teaches Vinyasa Lunch Flow, as well as Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. Her practice as well as teaching focuses on the mind-body-soul connection. Whether through energetic vinyasas or slow meditative restorative postures, she encourages her students to use their breath to deepen their connection to their bodies and stay mindful through their practice.

Sarah is an Epidemiologist who originally moved to Munich from California 10 years ago to get her master’s degree. She did her first yoga teacher training in 2014 in Dharamshala, India and taught in LA before moving to Munich. Once here, she traded yoga teaching for studying and after completing her Master’s continued on to a PhD in women’s health with a focus on cervical cancer research. Sarah then fell pregnant at the same time as the pandemic, and not long afterwards was pregnant again with her second baby. Back to back pregnancies, very little support due to having no family nearby, a colicky baby and a demanding toddler led to Sarah developing postpartum depression.

“Many things contributed to my recovery, but finding a way back to myself through yoga is what I believe truly healed me. This is why I began teaching pre- and postnatal yoga, to help other women find a way back to themselves through this roller coaster ride called motherhood.”

As a teacher, Sarah hopes that all her students leave her classes feeling grounded and connected to themselves and the present so that they can carry that with them through the rest of their day and lives.

Lunch Flow
Take a break from your busy workday to reconnect to your body. This energizing vinyasa class will use movement to get your heart rate up and connect you to body and breath. You’ll leave refreshed and grounded and avoid that midafternoon slump so you can finish out your day strong.

Prenatal Yoga
This is your hour to connect to yourself and your growing baby. This yoga class combines moves that strengthen your body and your pelvic floor, with gentle stretches and restorative postures to leave you feeling both strong and open as you prepare your mind, body, and soul for birth and beyond.

Postnatal Yoga
Birth is just the beginning. Your body, mind and soul need time and space to recover and heal. This yoga class is your space and time to focus on yourself. Core and breath work will help heal and strengthen your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles after birth. Gentle sequences will reconnect you to yourself and give you the energy you need for early motherhood.
